Experience Needed

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years software development experience, preferably in a startup-style or other fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team

Skills Required

  • Strong proficiency in Java
  • Strong understanding of scalable and highly concurrent server architecture design
  • Experience with Micro-services architecture
  • Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL data stores at scale. Specific experience with Redis Cache and MongoDB a plus.

We are growing our team, and have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to help manage our nationwide site acquisition process. Reporting to the Director of Network Operations, we are looking for someone who is self-managed, with excellent follow-up skills to see projects through to completion.

Job Purpose

The Site Acquisition Project Manager will be responsible for managing wireless site colocation projects through acquisition and construction for Senet’s RF network throughout the United States and beyond. Responsibilities include procuring installation sites, tracking and reporting on individual site progress, and determining individual installation requirements. In additional to Network Operations tasks, the Site Acquisition Project Manager will be required to step in and help on various types of tasks to help the business succeed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pursue, drive, track and report on all new network site projects
  • Manage external acquisition teams to ensure efficient and economic deployment strategy
  • Maintain point of contact relationships with tower site owners and landlords
  • Negotiate site agreements and arrangements with site landlords
  • Determine site requirements relating to acquisition, documentation, and installation
  • Review incoming site agreements for common desirable and undesirable language
  • Broker language negotiations between Senet and tower companies; making necessary modifications, and coordinate execution routing between multiple organizations
  • Add all new site documentation in our centralized database
  • Help to identify construction teams to expedite installation process
  • Comply with all necessary regulatory requirements including permitting, structural studies, etc.
  • Provision, test, and ship equipment for installation on tower and rooftop sites

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing construction phase of deployment
  • Help gather data for future equipment quantity and specification requirements
  • Maintain a willingness to help others in any way possible when available

Required Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; honorable Military discharge, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a wireless/RF site acquisition or project management role
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Adaptability and willingness to flow with a changing environment
