Live Demos to Highlight Agriculture, Smart City and IoT Security Use Cases
Santa Clara, CA and Portsmouth, NH – (May 15, 2017) – Senet, the first and fastest growing North American provider of public, low-power, wide-area networks (LPWANs) for long-range Internet of Things (IoT) applications supporting the LoRaWAN™ protocol, today announced that it will be teaming up with Gemalto, MultiTech, myDevices, and PNI Sensor Corporation to feature live solution demonstrations and LoRaWAN technology advantages during IoT World 2017. A silver sponsor of IoT World, Senet will be exhibiting in booth 1047.
In conjunction with MultiTech, Senet will be deploying live LoRaWAN connectivity using MultiTech Conduits and Conduit APs for outdoor and indoor coverage. Data from several end device sensors connected to the Senet network will be visualized through myDevices Cayenne dashboards demonstrating how real-time soil moisture, leak detection, and crop growth data can be used for a variety of agriculture applications .
Senet will be teaming up with PNI Sensor Corporation to showcase a smart parking solution. In this live demonstration, PNI’s PlacePod IoT-enabled high-accuracy smart parking sensor will be connected to a private LoRaWAN network, illustrating how it solves the most mission-critical aspects of municipal and private parking management: accurate, real-time vehicle detection and location of available parking spaces. Real-time parking data will be presented through PNI’s parking cloud.
Additionally, Gemalto will be conducting an IoT security demonstration at their booth (#1714), showcasing the integration of its Trusted Key Manager solution with Senet’s open, standards-based network. This demo will provide IoT solution providers and enterprises – looking to use LPWAN technology – an easy to integrate-and-use end-to-end offering for key provisioning, authentication and security for devices connecting to LoRa®-based networks.
