Senet, the sensible network company, announced today that it will be hosting executive meetings at the IoT Evolution Expo, to be held January 25-28, 2016, at Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, Florida. At IoT Evolution, attendees will learn how Internet of Things (IoT) technologies can be utilized to significantly improve business processes, minimize risk, spur innovation and drive revenue.
CES 2016 attendees involved with the development and deployment of IoT applications are invited to attend the LoRa Alliance reception sponsored by Senet, Inc. at the Venetian Hotel’s TAO restaurant on January 6th from 5 to 7 PM. During the reception the Senet team will present a major new initiative for 2016 that will significantly impact IoT solution developers, turning IoT ideas into commercially viable solutions.
Senet announced today that it continues to expand its national public IoT network with the addition of over 2,000 square miles of coverage in the Boston metropolitan and suburban areas. The expanded network coverage not only services existing and future Senet Network clients, the expanded coverage offers IoT innovators and developers in the Boston area access to Senet’s LoRaTM-based Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN).

Semtech Corporation (Nasdaq: SMTC), a leading supplier of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, along with two partners, Mueller Systems and Senet, will launch a low-power, wide-area network in Ventura County to wirelessly track groundwater pumping data from the Fox Canyon aquifer, which sources water to most of the region. The Fox Canyon Groundwater Management Agency board voted unanimously to approve the proposed project, which will streamline the existing data collection process and provide a more cost-efficient model for the county.
LoRa™ Alliance members MultiTech, Semtech and Senet will host a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) hands-on workshop in Silicon Valley to demonstrate how to connect to Senet’s North American LoRaWAN™ network and how to build private LoRaWAN solutions based upon MultiTech’s Conduit LoRa gateways. As part of the workshop, participants will also learn how to configure sensor devices to connect to LoRaWAN networks through the ARM© mbed™ IoT Device Platform.
