We are growing our team and have an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to manage the development and portfolio of the public wireless network. Reporting to the Director of Operations, we are looking for someone who is self-managed, with excellent follow-up skills to see projects through to completion.

Job Purpose

The Network Development Program Manager will be responsible for the development of the public RF network, and the management of the site portfolio throughout the United States and beyond. Primary responsibilities include managing, tracking, and reporting on antenna co-location projects, managing site lease renewals and cancellations, and maintaining all aspects of network site documentation. In additional to Network related tasks, the Network Development Program Manager will be required to assist on various other tasks to help the business succeed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Initiate, drive and report on all tower, rooftop and other antenna co-location projects
  • Manage external acquisition teams to ensure an efficient and economic deployment
  • Maintain point of contact relationships with tower site owners and landlords
  • Negotiate site agreements and arrangements with site landlords
  • Determine site requirements relating to acquisition, documentation, and installation
  • Review incoming site agreements for common desirable and undesirable language
  • Broker language negotiations between Senet and tower companies; making necessary modifications, and coordinate execution routing between multiple organizations
  • Maintain all site documentation in a centralized database
  • Monitor current agreements and dates, working within the organization to make sure that all leases are terminated or renewed based on customer and network needs
  • Help to identify construction teams to expedite installation process
  • Comply with all necessary regulatory and engineering requirements including permitting, structural studies, etc.
  • Work closely with our internal construction and maintenance team by updating them with site progress and requirements
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external site related inquiries

  • Assist in managing construction and maintenance efforts
  • Help gather data for future equipment quantity and specification requirements

  • Travel: Up to 25% travel required in the US in support of network development

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Network monitoring and maintenance for Senet’s distributed network across North America
  • Operating and maintaining Senet’s Network Server software platform to manage public and semi-private networks
  • Developing/analyzing network coverage models and designs for customer applications
  • Supporting the customer on-boarding process
  • Training customers on integration of software and hardware deployments
  • Troubleshooting device communication issues related to customer software and hardware
  • Operating as primary point of contact for customer support for specific geographies & customers
  • Troubleshooting network operations issues with Operations and Engineering teams
  • Coordinating new site installations with various technicians in a timely manner
  • Maintaining customer case information in Salesforce.com

Reporting to the Manager of Site Operations Construction, we are looking for someone who is self-managed, with excellent follow-up skills to see projects through to completion.

The Opportunity

You will plan, build, launch, and maintain Senet’s wireless network. You will be responsible for all operational aspects of the wireless sites across North America including design, construction, installation, site turn up, site optimization, and maintenance. You will work closely with the Propagation Team, Site Acquisition, Network Engineering, and Vendors to identify, verify, and bring into production high value sites that support Senet’s wireless network. You will also be responsible for improving operational procedures and methods to manage rapid network deployment and optimize network uptime. Other important daily tasks include procuring equipment, maintaining national inventory, and improving Senet’s wireless equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and deliver new site installations rapidly and efficiently
  • Manage clear and high-quality selection, expectations, and relationships with national vendors
  • Supervise on-site construction teams, manage quality control, and oversee site surveys, A&E, and installations
  • Instruct and verify compliance with safety, construction drawings, permits, and local regulations
  • Train customers, installation crews, and maintenance teams on best network deployment practices
  • Manage national inventory and maintenance crews to optimize network uptime
  • Maintains document control, site details, and project activities, timelines, and communication

The Opportunity

You will provide technical knowledge and troubleshooting to RF design, network builds, and maintenance across Senet’s wireless network. You will be responsible for all technical aspects of the wireless sites across North America including troubleshooting, vendor training, and RF interference. You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Network Engineering, and Vendors to turn-up, verify, and troubleshoot Senet’s wireless network. You will also be responsible for improving operational procedures and methods to manage time to market and optimize network uptime. Other important daily tasks include procurement, maintaining national inventory, and monitoring Senet’s wireless equipment.
