Senet Extended Coverage

Making LoRaWAN More Accessible Than Ever Before

Roaming and Wholesale Plans Backed by Senet’s Network Management Services

Senet’s Extended Coverage models provide customers with greater network access, removing the barriers to wide-scale IoT deployments across businesses, cities, counties and communities.

Together with our operator partners, we’re deploying and managing networks to deliver pervasive LoRaWAN connectivity for millions of devices anywhere and at any time.

Roaming and Wholesale Plans

Join Senet in Delivering LoRaWAN Network Coverage Where and When it is Needed

Roaming

Interconnecting networks through roaming agreements allows IoT devices to seamlessly connect within or move between operator partner coverage areas, making LoRaWAN more accessible than ever before

Wholesale Plans

Wholesale plans enable operator partners to extend their coverage area to the Senet Radio Access Network and sell carrier grade network connectivity

Built for Your Business

Plans are available where Senet offers public coverage today and new network builds and densification are considered based on your application and operational needs.

Network Management

Roaming and Wholesale plans are backed by Senet’s network management services, delivering the highest levels of reliability and responsiveness for large-scale IoT applications

Roaming
Flexibility Within and Beyond Industry Benchmarks

Roaming services from Senet are implemented using the LoRaWAN Backend Interfaces Technical Specification published by the LoRa Alliance. Public-to-public network peering, public-to-private and private-to-private network peering are provided for in the LoRaWAN Roaming specification.

In addition to the LoRaWAN roaming standards, Senet supports unique unidirectional and bidirectional network interconnectivity options, providing extreme flexibility in service delivery aligning to the business models and connectivity goals of each LoRaWAN operator partner.

Senet Wholesale Plans
Deliver the Carrier-Grade Connectivity Operator Customers Need

Senet offers plans that allow operator partners to sell wholesale, carrier grade LoRaWAN network coverage delivered by Senet’s Radio Access Network.

These plans are beneficial to network operators that may not provide the carrier-grade service and support required by a rapidly growing segment of their customer base. Plans are available where Senet offers public network coverage today and network expansion based on application and operational profile requirements.

“Senet’s dominant position in the commercial LoRaWAN network market and experience with scaled IoT solution deployments are examples of the success we look for as we partner to deliver value to the Helium ecosystem.”

Learn how you can benefit from our leadership and experience across LoRaWAN technology, global network deployments, markets and applications.

With a diverse set of IoT applications characterized by different demands, there is no “one technology fits all” approach to delivering connectivity for all IoT applications. The emergence of Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs), however, is fundamentally changing the IoT landscape. The cost and functionality gap between cellular and local-area networks has created an opportunity for LPWAN technologies, which excel at enabling low power, long range sensor applications where only small amounts of data are required.

The LoRaWAN® open specification is a low power, wide area networking (LPWAN) protocol based on LoRa Technology. Designed to wirelessly connect battery operated things to the Internet in regional, national or global networks, the LoRaWAN protocol leverages the unlicensed radio spectrum in the Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) band. The specification defines the device-to-infrastructure of LoRa physical layer parameters and the LoRaWAN protocol, and provides seamless interoperability between devices.

The Senet LVN provides rapidly expanding Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) coverage by connecting Network Operator, Application Provider and Radio Access Network (RAN) Provider networks under a cooperative model.

Network operators participating in the LVN partner with Senet to deploy LoRaWAN gateways in support of network expansion strategies and end customer IoT application requirements. This investment in the network infrastructure allows Operators to share in the revenue generated by all end devices connecting to the Radio Access Network they’ve deployed. Operators are eligible to receive revenue sharing up to 40% based on their LVN participation level.

By participating in the LVN, Network Operators can expand their branded service offerings beyond traditional areas of operation, unlocking opportunities for regional and global growth.

Of the billions of IoT sensor-enabled devices expected to be connected over the next few years, more than half are estimated to operate using Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs). Designed for sensors and applications that need to send and receive small amounts of data just a few times per hour or maybe only once a day, LPWANs are transforming the way things are monitored and measured and are contributing to a new wave of IoT innovation resulting in solutions and business models that otherwise would not be possible.

IoT is driving advancements across enterprise and industrial markets, and in vertical industries such as water, gas and electric utilities, agriculture, healthcare and municipal services where it has the potential to streamline operations, deliver time and cost savings and create new services. It is also driving global economic and environmental change with new opportunities for innovation enabling businesses and citizens to make the world a better place.
