Powering Global IoT Connectivity
We Are Changing the Connectivity Paradigm
Applying legacy network solutions and business models to IoT requires significant and costly change, and has slowed IoT adoption.
Senet provides a new network approach to meet the unique demands of connecting IoT devices at mass scale. By creating a global ubiquitous network that provides flexible, efficient and targeted connectivity, we are changing the paradigm for how IoT services are delivered.
LoRaWAN is the key to unlocking the enormous potential of IoT solutions
LoRaWAN is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) specification intended for wireless battery-operated sensors and end devices. It targets key requirements of Internet of Things such as long range, secure bi-directional communication, mobility and localization services.
The LoRa Alliance™ is an open, non-profit association of members who believe that the Internet of Things era is now! Members are collaborating and sharing experience to drive the success of the LoRa protocol, LoRaWAN, as the open global standard for secure, carrier-grade IoT LPWA connectivity.
The Senet LoRaWAN network architecture is designed to provide connectivity, data streaming, device management services and a developer’s environment to speed research and design.
Key attributes of LoRaWAN include:
- Connectivity over long ranges: >15 miles rural and > 5 miles urban
- Long battery power life: 10 or more years from AA battery for low-cost low-power devices
- Best-in-class interference and noise immunity: LoRa® modulation and flexible channel plans
- Dynamically optimized performance: Fastest data rates, Shortest time-on-air, Densest device deployments
- Fixed, nomadic and mobile device support
- Bidirectional communication allowing for device configuration and control
- Built-in security: AES-128 CCM, Privacy, authenticity and message integrity are assured end-to-end
Cloud Based Architecture
Senet’s public network and network enablement and management platforms are built on a common architecture using the latest cloud computing and storage technologies.
The Senet Network Server and Operational Support System (OSS) services are built with a micro-services architecture and are deployed as cloud based resources to provide high availability, on demand scale and redundancy. Cloud based application and security control and management are central to Senet’s software and services platforms, providing the ultimate combination of flexibility and quality of service for global IoT deployments.
Expertise in Building LoRaWAN Networks
The Senet LoRaWAN network is constructed with proven technology and is the first secure, multi-tenant, public LPWAN in North America to provide low cost, long distance, low power wireless connectivity for IoT applications across all industries. Our Network Operating System and OSS and BSS platforms are used by Senet and our partners to speed LoRaWAN commercialization worldwide and we’ve developed a unique set deployment models and onboarding tools which uniquely differentiate us from competing service providers and technologies.
Our proven experience establishing commercially available LPWAN services allows our customers to focus on bringing value-added IoT solutions to market without the burden of implementing and supporting the network infrastructure.
